Artist Statement

My name is Amanda Lynn Horwath and I'm an 18-year-old artist by hobby.  I like to try different media and artistic techniques, and to keep an open mind to just about everything.  I take my inspiration from my own thoughts and emotions, as well as my interests.  I feel like I'm decently experienced with pencil drawings, and I'm learning more about how colors and values work with each other to make drawings stand out more.  I enjoy drawing, photography, working with clay, and making jewelry.  I hope that you take some sort of enjoyment out of my work!
